Terms of service
These terms apply to purchases made on bocetta.store, operated by Bocetta (Miguel Escalante) from Mexico City, Mexico. We sell to customers in Mexico and the United States. By placing an order, you accept these terms.
1. Products
We describe and photograph our notebooks as accurately as we can. Each batch of paper has its own nuances, so small variations in shade and finish are normal and aren’t defects. Colors can look different on each screen.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout. Shipping is calculated by order weight and shown before you pay. For orders shipped to the United States, import duties and taxes aren’t included or charged at checkout: the carrier collects them on delivery and the recipient pays them. We can change prices at any time, but the price you pay is the one shown when you placed your order.
3. Orders, errors and stock
Your order is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order, and refund you in full, if a product is listed at a clearly wrong price by mistake, if it turns out to be out of stock or if we suspect fraud. You can cancel an order within 12 hours of placing it, as long as it hasn’t shipped.
4. Shipping, returns and refunds
See our shipping policy and our refund policy. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.
5. Promotions and discounts
Each promotion has its own conditions, shown when it’s offered. Unless stated otherwise, discounts can’t be exchanged for cash, applied to past orders or combined beyond what the checkout allows. We can end a promotion at any time, but we honor orders placed while it was running.
6. Team and corporate orders
Orders of 100 pieces or more are quoted separately and may have their own terms, agreed in writing.
7. Content and intellectual property
The Bocetta name, logo, photos and texts on this site belong to Bocetta and can’t be used without our written permission. If you send us your work for our community archive, it stays yours; we only publish it with your permission.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we aren’t liable for indirect damages.
9. Events outside our control
We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as carrier or customs delays, natural disasters, bad weather, strikes, material shortages, service outages or government action.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute will be resolved by the courts of Mexico City, unless the consumer protection law of your country entitles you to go to your local courts. In Mexico you can also go to the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO).
11. Your rights
Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer protection law of your country, including Mexico’s Federal Consumer Protection Law and its 5-business-day revocation period.

13. Changes
We may update these terms. Each order is governed by the version published when you placed it.
