Privacy policy

This policy explains how we collect, use and share your personal information when you visit or use bocetta.store, make a purchase or contact us (the “Services”). If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this policy, this policy prevails regarding your personal information.

Information we collect

  • Contact details: name, shipping and billing address, phone number and email.
  • Payment information: payment method and confirmation. Full card details are processed by the payment provider; we don’t store them.
  • Account and order information: what you buy, return or cancel, and your preferences.
  • Communications: what you send us by email, form or social media.
  • Device and usage information: browser, IP address, cookies and how you use the site.

We don’t collect sensitive personal data.

How we use it

Necessary purposes: processing and shipping your orders, taking payment, handling returns, complaints and questions, preventing fraud and meeting legal and tax obligations.

Secondary purposes: sending you news and promotions, and showing you personalized ads. You can object to these at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails, on Your Privacy Choices or by writing to us; it doesn’t affect your purchases.

Who we share it with

  • Shopify and the providers who work for us: payments, carriers, hosting, analytics and customer service. Some are located outside Mexico.
  • Advertising partners, to show you personalized ads, unless you have objected.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

Shopify also processes some information on its own account for certain features; see its Consumer Privacy Policy and its Privacy Portal.

Your rights

If you live in Mexico, you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection (ARCO rights) and withdraw your consent under the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. Email hola@bocetta.store with your name, the right you want to exercise, a copy of an official ID and a clear description of your request. We’ll reply within 20 business days at most.

If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights of access, erasure, rectification, portability, objection, restriction of processing and to withdraw your consent.

If you live in certain US states, you can opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your data for targeted advertising on Your Privacy Choices. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal.

We won’t discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may ask you to verify your identity before handling your request.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about how we handle your information, please write to us first. In Mexico, the competent authority is the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno. In the European Economic Area you can contact your supervisory authority.

Transfers, retention and security

Your information may be stored and processed outside the country where you live. For transfers from the EEA or the UK we use recognized mechanisms, such as Standard Contractual Clauses. We keep your information for as long as we need it for these purposes and to comply with the law. No security measure is perfect, so please don’t send us sensitive information through insecure channels.

Children

The Services aren’t aimed at minors and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child gave us information, write to us and we’ll delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. We’ll publish the new version here with its update date.
