Most notebooks are white inside, whatever the cover says. A Bocetta is one color all the way through, so the page itself becomes the color and every line you draw on it shows up like light.
It’s for the rough stuff: the sketch on the train, the idea halfway through a song, the page you’d never show anyone and the one that turns into the work.
Assembled by hand in Florence.

Does white gel pen smudge?
Give it a few seconds before you close the notebook, because gel ink sits on top of dyed paper and needs a moment to set.
